Filmmaker

Andy Blubaugh’s experimental documentaries have screened at over 100 venues worldwide, including the Sundance, Edinburgh, and Seattle International Film Festivals, as well as special screenings at the Jacob Burns Film Center and the Museum of Natural History in New York. His work has been broadcast by the PBS program P.O.V. and on the Logo Network in the United States, in addition to many European television networks.  He is the recipient of fellowships from the Tribeca Film Institute and the Oregon Arts Commission, and was identified as one of “25 New Faces of Independent Film” by Filmmaker Magazine. His debut feature, THE ADULTS IN THE ROOM, premiered at the Frameline Film Festival in San Francisco, and won Best Narrative Feature at the 37th Northwest Film & Video Festival.
