HOMEWORK is an open invitation
to filmmakers, artists, and storytellers to join me in the ongoing mission to find new methods for investigating truth.
The project takes the form of a monthly “Homework assignment”: an observation of dischord, pattern, or hidden connection, paired with a challenge to create a new piece of art that responds to this observation, and in the process attempts to find—or create—the meaning hidden beneath the surface.
The completed Homework assignments are posted here as they are finished, along with periodic progress updates as the pieces develop. Some will be fully developed works of art, some will be sketches, and some may even be complete failures. But the journey toward truth is not a straight line, and every diversion from the path makes our map more accurate.
The artists participating in Homework initially have been specifically invited by me, but anyone is welcome to contribute. To receive advance notice of the next Homework assignment, send a message to me here.
