I directed a music video for Babydollars, otherwise known as Toussaint Perrault (who’s crafted perfect tunes for almost every one of my films) and friends. The result? A fairly engaging short film, but I’m not sure if it really works as a music video or not. You tell me.
This Saturday is a big night for myself and my circle of filmy friends. First, the premiere of my new short film THE PULL will be at the Portland International Film festival at 2:00 PM at the Whitsell Auditorium. You can find the full schedule and descriptions of the other awesome films that will be playing with mine at this link, or visit www.nwfilm.org for more info about the festival.
THEN…
At 8:30 PM, all the cool kids will be heading to the fund raiser for OPEN, the new film by my friend Travis Ezell. There will be a full bar, a DJ, and short films by Travis, myself, and many others. The event will be held at 606 SE Madison St in Portland. Cover is $4.00, and goes for a good cause. I hope to see all of you there.
Picture is officially locked on my new film, “The Pull,” which chronicles my rocky relationship with John Wilmot and, more specifially, the exact date of our breakup which we negotiated and agreed upon before we started dating.
I regret that I can’t put the whole thing online, since that would pretty much nix any Sundance chances I might have, but I’m working on a tiny little teaser to whet your appetite. Check back this weekend.
